Job Opening: Digital Marketing Strategist

We are looking for a relationship-focused individual to join our team as a digital marketing strategist.  The responsibilities will include following up with warm leads to conduct initial exploratory calls, followed by digital reviews, negotiations, and contracting with new clients.  This is more of a consulting than a sales position because we want to thoughtfully recommend the appropriate set of services for our clients, without pressuring them to sign up for more than is comfortable.  We must strike a balance between recommending solutions that will drive results and prioritizing according to the client’s budget.  For this reason, this is a salaried position and is not commission-based.  You will carry a growth goal against which your performance will be measured, but we would rather you sell what is right than maximize deal size for the sake of a commission.  Your interview will include a mock digital marketing analysis of an account to test your skills.

If you are a natural extrovert with experience in setting digital marketing strategy across SEO, social media, CRM, and advertising, have an upbeat attitude, excellent communication skills in English, time management skills, can quickly establish rapport with prospects, plus you’re the right cultural fit for our company, then we’re willing to train you. It’s an incredible opportunity to learn and grow within a team of deep marketing consulting experts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Follow up with warm leads from our website, social media, and networking to schedule exploratory calls with prospects.
  • Update and maintain the pipeline and tasks in our Asana.
  • Quickly develop rapport with a prospect on Zoom, understand their priorities and business, and capture sufficient information to conduct a digital review.
  • Conduct a thorough digital marketing review, using our SEO tools to assess website and social media performance vs. competitors.  Prepare a presentation using our framework and SOPs.
  • Independently conduct a consultative conversation with the prospect, finding a suitable solution that balances their budget and desired results.
  • Create a contract and proposal using our online tool.
  • Follow up with the prospect until a decision is made.
  • Work with our delivery team to transition the client from sales to operations to deliver their project or monthly services.
  • Co-lead our onboarding calls with Client Success
