Type A personality with technical marketing skills to lead client consulting and support business development. Your responsibilities will vary but include the following:
Assess a client or prospect’s online effectiveness including:
1. Determining the extent to which their website has been optimized for SEO and opportunities that may exist. (you’ll need a strong knowledge of HTML and Java for this)
2. Reviewing design and navigation of their website and key components such as placement of lead generation forms, lead magnets and calls-to-action to evaluate what can be done to improve conversions.
3. Evaluating their social media channel activities to recommend the optimal channels for their business and what can be done to improve their presence and engagement.
4. Writing a summary of recommendations using our template.
Consulting input to our monthly SEO services including conducting monthly digital audits for our clientsd as well as leading client strategy calls.
Creation and management of Google Adwords and Facebook campaigns.
Note that we will provide the software tools needed to complete these tasks, what we need is your expertise.
Who you are:
At your core you are a consultant. You love solving problems and helping to make a difference in the micro and small business market we serve. You excel at multi tasking and are able to have multiple tasks on the go at any given time without losing track. You are a people person and able to think on your feet when faced with a challenge without getting tongue tied. You have a generally positive and upbeat outlook on life and thrive on challenge rather than being frazzled by it. If someone says “impossible”, you say “I bet I can find a way”. You love keeping up on the latest digital marketing trends. But you also have great communication skills and can speak to this knowledge with a soft confidence that shows clients you know how to listen and guide them as if you were investing your own money.
You have a U.S. based cell phone that can accept texts. You have a Skype account that you leave open so you can accept chat requests. You are looking for a somewhat flexible schedule roughly based around EDT working hours where taking time during the day to drive kids or run an errand is no big deal but even if you’re away from your desk you are willing to respond to a text within about 10 mins – even if it is to tell us that you have stepped away and what time you’ll be available. When you’re on an internal call without clients, background noise is not an issue, we know you’re still professional (we love dogs and kids). However, client and prospect calls will require a quiet environment.
You’re very comfortable around a computer and can pick up new applications quickly. English is your mother tongue and you write exceptionally well, perhaps even as a hobby, with impeccable spelling and grammar. Writing skills are a deal breaker for us as one of the services we sell is writing so please only apply if you have a real strength in this area.
You’re a fun person to be around and you’re looking for a challenging opportunity that can be a bit of a pressure cooker at times with all of the hundreds of activities and requests we have going on at any given time, and our unwavering commitment to client service, but you’re excited to be part of a young, growing company and eager to learn from a very seasoned executive team.
You’re willing to start out on an hourly, part time basis but could see yourself growing to 30 hours+ as you prove your value. We’re looking for someone to grow with us.

This is a 1099 position.
