Highly energetic, U.S. based, Type A personality to drive sales.  The position is 100% work from home.  Your job will be to pursue leads, create estimates according to our guidelines, and on-board new clients to ensure a smooth transition to our delivery teams.

The position requires:

  • Developing a thorough understanding not only of the services we sell, but of what makes us different.  Widget sales experience won’t help you to be successful here.  We are looking for a consultative sales professional who knows how to truly listen to client needs, uncover their real problems and motivations, and assemble the right package of custom services to meet their needs, by combining our available packages, or by working with our delivery team to craft something new.
  • Contextual knowledge and experience with website, SEO and social media sales
  • Managing our lead generation accounts, identifying relevant leads and following up
  • Prospecting on LinkedIn
  • Following up on our website, client and partner referrals
  • On-boarding new clients quickly to make sure their initial impressions are highly positive.  This will include creating contract drafts using our templates, adding their information to our internal systems (Agile CRM, Xero, Podio), setting up initial briefing sessions with our delivery team and, most importantly, following up to make sure tasks are being completed in a timely manner and the clients have what they need.  Transition the client to our delivery team.
  • Entering and documenting lead management via our CRM tool Agile CRM.
  • Being held accountable for monthly sales targets and client retention

You are based in the U.S., and have a U.S. based cell phone that can accept texts.  You have a Skype account that you leave open so you can accept chat requests.  You are looking for a somewhat flexible schedule roughly based around EDT working hours where taking time during the day to drive kids or run an errand is no big deal but even if you’re away from your desk you are willing to respond to a text within about 10 mins – even if it is to tell us that you have stepped away and what time you’ll be available.  When you’re on an internal call without clients, background noise is not an issue, we know you’re still professional (we love dogs and kids).  However, client and prospect calls will require a quiet environment.

You’re very comfortable around a computer and can pick up new applications quickly.  English is your mother tongue and you write exceptionally well.  Spelling and grammar are a deal breaker for us as one of the services we sell is writing so please only apply if you have a real strength in this area.

This may be a part-time or full-time 1099 position with hourly pay plus ongoing annuity percentage of your sales.  As you help us to grow, your compensation will grow.  You will be on a performance trial for the first 4 weeks.

Type A personality with technical marketing skills to lead client consulting and support business development.  Your responsibilities will vary but include the following:

Assess a client or prospect’s online effectiveness including:
1.  Determining the extent to which their website has been optimized for SEO and opportunities that may exist.  (you’ll need a strong knowledge of HTML and Java for this)
2.  Reviewing design and navigation of their website and key components such as placement of lead generation forms, lead magnets and calls-to-action to evaluate what can be done to improve conversions.
3.  Evaluating their social media channel activities to recommend the optimal channels for their business and what can be done to improve their presence and engagement.
4.  Writing a summary of recommendations using our template.

Consulting input to our monthly SEO services including conducting monthly digital audits for our clientsd as well as leading client strategy calls.

Creation and management of Google Adwords and Facebook campaigns.

Note that we will provide the software tools needed to complete these tasks, what we need is your expertise.

Your role will be to write blogs and web pages and optimize for keywords directly on WordPress using a software tool that we provide and will teach you to use.  We’ll also need you to go to existing websites and edit the content to optimize those pages.  You may need to write or rewrite product descriptions for eCommerce websites, and write email drip campaigns with compelling subject lines.

Who you are:
At your core you are a creative writer.  You may even be in the midst of writing the next Great American Novel.  You are experienced at adjusting your style to match the “voice” of the clients for whom you write, and can cover industries as varied as IT, healthcare, legal and personal coaching.  You are organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.  You have a generally positive and upbeat outlook on life and while you may be a natural introvert, you are comfortable working with small virtual teams and letting others know the status of your progress. You are also comfortable speaking directly with clients about possible blog topics and making suggestions on what makes sense given their industry and marketing focus.  You love researching new topics and are able to work efficiently when preparing to write a piece.  You’re an expert when it comes to American English and rarely miss a trick when it comes to punctuation, spelling and grammar.

We need a Social Media Engagement Marketing Consultant with specific experience in event marketing.  Your role will be to fill seats for our clients through social media groups, contests, connections, influencers, social media ads, email drip campaigns, Google Adwords and any other tricks you may have up your sleeve.  We expect you to bring your proven methodology to the table for filling events from 10-300 people.  We’re big on numbers so you’ll be measured on results.

We need a Marketing Analyst I with strong attention to detail.  Your role will be to support the team in the following areas:

  • Administration of our review management service for our clients.  Using our software to request reviews, respond to positive reviews and highlight negative reviews to our clients, and follow up with clients to obtain their new customer lists so we may add them to our software.
  • Reviewing actual hours vs. budgets in our timekeeping software and highlighting issues to our project manager.
  • Creation of newsletters using Mailchimp and similar tools.
  • Scheduling calls with clients and prospects.
  • Downloading our call recordings and organizing in Google Drive folders.
  • Supporting our social media engagement manager by creating posts and joining groups under her direction.
  • Assisting with other client related tasks and projects.
